Corporate Christmas

December 1st 2011 saw Advantage ico managing the first Christmas party event of the season. The event was for a corporate client and 150 of their employees.

The Brief:

In the past this annual event consisted more of a sit down style buffet dinner, however this year it was time to change things up! A simple, straightforward party was the brief but with a lasting impression.

The event took place in a central Dublin nightclub that was exclusively hired for the night. Even though the client had heard of the venue, there was some convincing and reassuring to do as the venue would not have been their first preference. After a couple of site inspections, the client trusted Sarah enough to go with her idea and the two rooms being used were completely transformed into a Winter Wonderland theme.

Guests were greeted with champagne on arrival, an assortment of mouth watering canapés and just in case they were still hungry a selection of cone food that consisted of fish 'n chips and vegetable tempura & scrumptious desserts.

Entertainment for the evening was provided by a top Dublin DJ who spun Christmas tunes to start and then really got into the swing of things once the food service had concluded.

The event was a huge success as the client and the guests' expectations were surpassed and everyone had a night to remember.
